I hired Tropical Roofing and Drainage Solutions to inspect, repair & re-sheet a heritage listed commercial shed in the Cairns CBD, while it was still partially trading. Rhys and his crew of skilled tradesman re-sheeted, flashed, and repaired structural purlins within the roof of this heritage building. They also worked in with various electricians and refrigeration technicians on this project, and delivered a quality, yet fair & cost effective result for the customer. Tropical Roofing & Drainage Solutions were professional in the way they conducted their business in regards to billing, gathering council approvals, heritage approvals, and updates with work progress and communications. I have found Rhys to be honest, Hardworking, and a trustworthy individual, who applied himself to the project to the best his ability and delivered a good result. Their quote was very competitive. They arrived when they said they would. The work was done with a minimum of fuss and they left the depot the same way they found it. Quality job too as we have had substantial rain since and not a leak to be found anywhere. I would highly recommend Rhys and his team as an outstanding local business.

Playing with Google Earth and I realised my house had the worst roof in the whole street, so I thought I had better get something done. I contacted my son who was living in NZ and he suggested getting three quotes. Two just scribbled me a price on a piece of paper, one was extremely outrageous (think the job was too big for him to handle). Rhys and Jenna sent an itemised quote the very next day to myself and my son in NZ. My son researched Rhys and Jenna's company and had quite a few queries and Rhys never faulted or lost his cool with the back and forward emails, even though he was extremely busy from all the rain we were getting at the time. They informed me there would be a delay due to the rain affecting their schedule, but once the job was started they were such a happy bunch of men, loved when they talked and laughed while eating downstairs, instead of looking at their phones like most trades do. The boys sometimes worked 12 hour days to get the job done and never an argument. Thank you Rhys and Jenna and all of your crew. I have already had a few compliments and know you sign has attracted a few people.

Rhys Littman possesses rare qualities in today's world. Apart from "free quote", fair pricing, punctuality, keeping an inspection appointment, above average workmanship, with consideration for the client's property and job clean up. Rhys gives the small job (as ours was) the same attention as a major job. Anyone requiring the services of a first rate plumber would do themselves a disservice in not contacting him. I would have no hesitation in the future of using Rhys if I required the services of a plumber.

The professionalism started with the quote which I was so impressed by that I have now changed my business invoices and quotes to mirror theirs! Jenna was only too happy to help me with those very non drainage questions. The boys were fast and efficient with the guttering and gave us good advice, showing their experience and passion for doing a professional and top quality job. Rhys came out the very next day after we called and gave us a very competitive quote for the work to be done, also explained breakdown of costs etc clearly. We have a small toddler at home who Rhys was great working around, warning before making any loud noises and only shutting water off at the very end, he was also careful to clean up so we didn't have to worry about tools etc laying around. We are very happy with the job done and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tropical Roofing and Drainage.
